Dr. Cale Witmer joined the Charlotte Animal Hospital team in 2026 and is passionate about providing exceptional care while building lasting relationships with pets and their families. He was drawn to Charlotte Animal Hospital because of its efficient, cohesive, and fun team culture, and he appreciates the strong communication and support provided by the hospital's leadership.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Witmer enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, playing video games, golfing, and caring for his fish tanks. When he's not seeing patients, you'll often find him at the beach, on the golf course, trying a new restaurant, or relaxing at home.
A few fun facts about Dr. Witmer: his favorite color is blue, he's a fan of The Pitt and author Suzanne Collins, and you can usually win him over with a Twix bar, some chocolate ice cream, or a Diet Coke.
