Dr. Cale Witmer joined Charlotte Animal Hospital in 2026 after earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
Originally from Herndon, Virginia, Dr. Witmer discovered his passion for veterinary medicine while working as a veterinary assistant at his hometown animal hospital during his undergraduate studies. Dr. Witmer enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and has particular interests in internal medicine and oncology. He is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and providing compassionate, individualized care to every patient he sees.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Witmer enjoys spending time at the beach, golfing, trying new restaurants, and relaxing at home with his fiancée. He and his fiancée share their home with multiple fish and look forward to adopting a rescue dog from a local animal shelter.
